Campaign and Community Organizing Intern

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Campaign and Community Organizing Intern will assist in campaign research and planning; assist in campaign implementation and in strengthening MLP's base and organizational partnerships. The Campaign and Community Organizing Intern will assist in administrative duties, outreach, and event planning. They will have the opportunity to build skills in campaign strategy, workshop building and facilitation, and policy analysis.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Job Duties:
o Assist with necessary research
o Assist in building a base of cross-sector organizations and individuals working for social justice
o Assist with administrative duties for campaign and movement building work
o Outreach and planning for campaign or movement building events
o Assist with necessary research for presentations and trainings
o Assemble presentations
o Workshop or presentation co-facilitation

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a part-time position at 20-25 hours per week for University class credit only. If hired, we will work with you on completing any necessary forms to attain school credit for your time with Media Literacy Project. Please e-mail for the complete job description.
