Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for managing all aspects of Explora’s Seasonal Camp Program, including: managing all logistics in scheduling; camp registration; supervision of contract camp staff; and implementation of day-long or week-long camp programs offered during winter break, spring break, and summer break. Also responsible for strategically evaluating camp offerings and making recommendations, and evaluating camp offerings for quality and effectiveness.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Camp Manager will lead the effort to appraise opportunities for expanding camp programming and recommend ways to grow in alignment with Explora’s strategic plan. They will work closely with other staff to ensure the Seasonal Camp Program is helping Explora fulfill its mission and commitment to community in meaningful and effective ways. Off-season the Camp Manager also will work as an Educator, facilitating inquiry-based educational programs for a variety of audiences, both on-site and through outreach.
