On Call Residential Youth Advocate

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Residential Advocates provide direct care and supervision of residents of Casa Q and participate in day to day operations of the program including but not limited to transportation to appointments, advocacy at community organizations, meal preparation, homework assistance and mentorship.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Residential Advocates provide continuity of care by participating in the implementation of individual resident plans, intake, discharge, safety plans and team assessments.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Strong oral and written communication skills, creative and innovative, high level of personal responsibility. Desire and ability to work with youth and respond to a fast paced environment. Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills a must. Must be at least 21 years of age, able to pass a criminal background check and driving record check. Compensation $11/hr.
