Main Areas of Responsibility:
• Provide a comfortable atmosphere to our guests while having compassion, understanding and acceptance of homeless persons
• Promote and encourage safety and clear communication
• Provide exceptional customer service and be responsive to our guests' needs
• Ensure confidentiality of guests and of their records
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as scheduled
• Crisis intervention when necessary
• Regular security checks of the facility
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Label/store medications, provide access to their medications when needed; ensure inaccessibility to other guests
• Review and record all pertinent information in the communication log throughout shift
• Answer phone, log bed inquiries, provide excellent customer service to callers and provide referrals/resources as needed
• Be aware of emergency procedures
• Be a team player
• Other duties as assigned
• Ability to relate to homeless and/or mentally ill women and children
