On-call Crisis Response Advocate

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Crisis Response Advocate is responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. Must be able to attend two meetings monthly outside of their schedule. The Crisis Response Advocate provides advocacy on the hotline and in-person.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Other duties include maintaining accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards. The Crisis Response Advocate may be asked to cover extra hours outside of their shift as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Must be willing to collaborate with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
• Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• RCCCNM 40 hour training required
