Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. This position is on Sat/Sun; must be able to attend meetings during the week. The Crisis Response Advocate provides advocacy on the hotline and in-person. Other duties as assigned. Must be flexible to work extra hours outside of their shift as needed.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to collaborate with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Access to own vehicle and telephone
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Bachelor Degree preferred
