On-Call Crisis Response Advocate

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Crisis Response Advocate provides crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. This position is during weekends Sat/Sun and must be able to attend meetings during weekdays. The CRA provides advocacy on the hotline and in-person. The Crisis Response Advocate may be asked to cover extra hours outside of their shift as needed.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be willing to collaborate with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
• Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Access to own vehicle and phone
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Bachelor Degree preferred

Other Information/Requirements: 

Successful applicants must complete the RCCCNM 40-hour Advocate Training.
