Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Business Consultant establishes linkages with local businesses; and markets the Center services to employers to create job opportunities and job placements for Center participants. This individual shall be highly self-motivated, committed to socioeconomic development, with a background in work force development, knowledge of local needs and trends in workforce development, and the ability to establish linkages with business leaders.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner and a self-starter with excellent communication, presentation and computer skills; the candidate must have the ability to manage their time well, be reliable, and display a willingness to learn; they will have excellent customer service skills, be community minded, have experience working with a diverse population and business to business experience; and professional attitude and attire are necessary.
