Main Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure successful operation and execution of budgeting & financial management; develop & maintain partnerships with school bookkeepers and other staff across a network of charter schools; oversee implementation of payroll/benefits system & time keeping system; work with school governing bodies & administrative leadership to establish financial goals, projects, policies, procedures, & controls.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Prepare Budget Adjustment Requests (BARs); manage financial reporting for grant monies and to state and federal authorities; work with the audit committee; attend meetings as requested by the Finance Director; assist administrators with NM STARS reporting.
