Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Business Manager is responsible for performing financial management and related administrative duties in support of Leadership New Mexico. The Business Manager will monitor and process contracts, maintain all financial records and budgets, prepare all checks and invoices, collect funds on behalf of LNM, reconcile financial accounts for all programs and events, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and laws governing financial regulation of a non-profit organization.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable using Quickbooks. Board meeting and committee support. Maintenance of and enhancements to donor database and provide recommendations to organization regarding maintenance and growth of endowment fund.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This is a newly created position.BA in accounting, finance, or other related field preferred. 5+ years as Financial Director/Business Manager/Accounting Manager or similar position. Prior work with financial management of non-profit. Knowledge of accounting requirements and legal regulations governing non-profit organizations. Experience and proficiency with QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Outlook, Online survey and evaluation tools. Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
