Building Services Coordinator

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reports to Museum Deputy Director. Coordinates building services and systems to ensure a smooth operation of facility. Familiarity with building trades, construction methods and materials, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and overall appearance. Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills essential. Ability to work independently and without immediate supervision.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

5Resolves day to day maintenance problems.
7Equipment maintenance.
Ability to maintain overall appearance of facility
Complete minor plumbing repair, including faucet replacement
Replacement of fluorescent tubes, light bulbs, and track-light fixtures.
Maintain schedule for flooring maintenance, both concrete polishing and carpet cleaning.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma; Vocational Associate Degree (preferred).
Experience: 2 years’ minimum with general hands-on type of work
Part-time position: 30 hours per week
Benefits: 40 hours paid vacation annually, accrued at 1.54 hours bi-weekly
