Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Border and Immigration Policy Advocate advances humane border policies and immigrants’ rights at the local, state, and federal level. This person is responsible for strengthening and building alliances with strategic partners; conducting community education around the state; mobilizing and organizing partners in support of the ACLU-NM’s mission; serving as a media spokesperson; advocating with policy makers; and representing ACLU-NM’s positions in various public forums.
