Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Weekly office accounting
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Budget development/management
• Bank reconciliation
• Light administrative duties ( including PO box oversight and order fulfillment)
• Other fiscal reporting support.

Other duties as needed. Average hours 15 per week, fluctuating based on time of month or time of year.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Surface Design Association seeks an experienced bookkeeper to perform office accounting and light administrative duties. SDA is a virtual organization and requires a candidate who is able to work independently and comfortable with a virtual office.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting, non-profit accounting best practices. Must be proficient with Quickbooks. This is a virtual office; ideal candidate may be based in ABQ or Santa Fe. This is a contract-based, part-time position with the opportunity for growth.
