Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Generation Justice (GJ) is seeking a bookkeeper and finance assistant to provide bookkeeping, finance organization, operational support, and fundraising initiatives, including assistance in grant writing and grant reporting. This team player will have exceptional organizational skills and experience in non-profit operations and systems development.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Manage staff payroll, reimbursements, and invoices
-Update grant tracking spreadsheets weekly
-Reconcile internal grant spreadsheets against fiscal sponsor’s reports monthly
-Manage petty cash
-Personnel contracts and organizing HR information
-Filing of payroll, grant documents, and HR
-Donation tracking
-Equipment orders, inventories
-Other duties as required for the mission of GJ.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
-Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the GJ mission
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in Bookkeeping/Payroll
Fluency with both Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets

Salary:
-$20.00-$26.00/per hour
-This is a part-time (20-25 hours/week) contract position
-Temporarily 80% remote due to COVID-19
