Bilingual Victim Advocate

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The position requires response to Spanish/English calls on the hotline and provides advocacy for Spanish/English survivors who seek services at SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Unit). The Bilingual Victim Advocate may also provide legal advocacy as needed. Other duties include maintaining accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards, social media outreach and community outreach.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor degree (Social Sciences or related field)
• A minimum of one year direct service experience
• Knowledge of local Spanish speaking communities
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Grant writing and reporting experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Networking skills and outreach experience
