Bilingual Prevention Education Coordinator

Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under general supervision, plans, implements and evaluates sexual violence prevention projects, including delivering short and long-term educational presentations/workshops, develop and implement community organizing initiatives aimed at preventing sexual assault and abuse and conducts outreach to under-served populations.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Develop curricula targeting youth focused on addressing all aspects of sexual violence and oppression
• Build supportive relationships with community members and conduct outreach and needs assessments among underserved populations
• Develop culturally competent, bilingual materials related to the program
• Maintain statistics, update databases and participate in grant reporting, review and evaluation

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience or combination of education and experience.
• Strong commitment to social justice issues
• Community organizing, facilitation and public speaking skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
• Valid driver’s license and car
• Must speak Spanish and English
• Strong writing skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
