Main Areas of Responsibility:
Samaritan Counseling Center of Albuquerque is announcing recruitment for the position of a Bilingual Clinical Therapist. This professional would provide behavioral health therapy services to immigrant families living in the International District including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Candidates for this position must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and oral). This position also requires cultural sensitivity to immigrants and the various barriers they experience including poverty, employment issues, immigration and separation issues, and acculturation difficulties. The candidate must be able to serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team, be well versed in community resources, and capable of integrating spirituality and psychotherapy.
