Main Areas of Responsibility: 

A nonprofit leader in the high-impact fields of community development and microfinance, Accion is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs realize their dreams and fuel increased economic opportunity through business ownership. Client Ambassadors provide outstanding customer service and client satisfaction, acting as the first point of contact for new and existing clients.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

-Provide a fantastic first impression by going the extra mile for each client, anticipating their needs, and treating them as though they’re most important;
-Serve as a knowledgeable and helpful go-to resource for current and prospective clients answering incoming client service requests by phone and email; and
-Enthusiastically uphold Accion’s organizational values of passion, pioneering spirit, integrity, excellence and accountability.

Other Information/Requirements: 

-Passion for increasing economic opportunity and access to capital;
-Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience preferred;
-Must be comfortable interacting with clients over the phone and by email;
-Experience or familiarity with lending, banking or finance preferred;
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; and
-English/Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
