Bilingual Advocacy Coordinator (Eng/Span)

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Bilingual Advocacy Coordinator (BAC) is responsible for providing crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones. The BAC provides social media outreach and community outreach. The BAC must be comfortable with public speaking and on-camera interviews for the media.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for monthly/quarterly/annual grant reports. Other duties include maintaining accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards. The BAC may be required to work hours outside of their shift.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor degree (Social Sciences or related field)
A minimum of one year direct service experience
Grant writing experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Community outreach experience
Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in Spanish and English
Must be able to take initiative and work independently
