Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsibilities include: providing crisis intervention and advocacy to Spanish/English speaking survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones; response to Spanish/English calls on the hotline and provides advocacy for Spanish/English survivors who present at the SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners Unit); may also provide legal advocacy as needed

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Maintaining accurate files and records of each service provided in accordance with agency standards; social media outreach; and community outreach; May be asked to be back-up and on-call during night and weekend hours outside of their shift.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree (Social Sciences or related field)
• A minimum of one year social service experience
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Spanish and English
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be willing to work with other agencies and participate in outreach activities
• Ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality
• Must obtain Criminal Records Background clearance
• Access to own vehicle and telephone
