Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Benefits and Accounting Specialist supports the recruitment and retention of highly effective employees through the identification of competitive employee benefits packages, supports Homewise employees to readily and easily access their benefits, and supports the accounting department with daily processing and account reconciliation.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Ensure all employee benefits are managed effectively, including managing timely changes for new and terminating employees. Provide an effective and readily understandable overview of benefits to new hires within the first week of employment. Ensure timely submission of all benefit reporting requirements, develop and implement open enrollment, and maintain benefits calendar. Maintain the integrity of subsidiary ledger balances to general ledger balances.
