Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under the CoC Director’s supervision, the Balance of State CoC Program Officer supports agencies in planning and implementing CoC functions per the Interim Rule, local standards, governance charters, and community goals to end homelessness. The Southern New Mexico Balance of State serves 18 counties, including Dona Ana, Eddy, and Lea.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Lead coordination of Balance of State CoC meetings, agendas, minutes, and committees. Oversee Housing Inventory and Point-in-Time Counts. Provide training for CoC providers. Support partnerships, statewide initiatives, and funding competitions. Manage applications, documents, and standards. Facilitate presentations, workgroups, and planning efforts. Assist CoC Program Director with duties to end homelessness.
