Back-End Web Applications Developer

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Faith Comes by Hearing has a full-time position available for a Back-End Web Applications Developer with top-notch programming skills and experience.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Create, modify, debug, and maintain back-end code
• Evaluate existing application architecture
• Write technical documentation for various web projects
• Assist with API development, and server management
• Manage SSL certificates
• Work with a Linux terminal
• Provide data, logs, and reports
• Manage MySQL and Mongo web-databases

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Computer Science Degree, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years’ experience developing applications in PHP and MySQL (LAMP Stack)
• Experience working with:
* PHP framework
* Linux environment (preferably AWS)
• Strong understanding of web application security principals, firewall configurations, and Linux permissions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem solving skills
