Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The AV Technician is responsible for interfacing with instructors to determine their audio/video needs, and setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio/video equipment in the appropriate classrooms. The AV Technician works with instructors, lecturers, volunteer hosts, the AV Manager, and the office staff to help ensure all RENESAN audio video needs are met.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

RENESAN holds classes Monday-Thursday during two academic terms a year, mid-January-April, and mid-August-November. The AV Technician is expected to be available on Mondays and Tuesdays, hours vary depending upon instructor needs, and additional days as needed.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
Associate Degree in Communication, Computer Science, MIS, Information Services, or a related field and minimum of two years of experience supporting and interfacing with clientele to provide desired Audio Video needs. Working knowledge of basic computer operations and of AV equipment and software. $15/hour depending on education, experience, and skills.
