Audio Processing Editor I

Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Using Adobe Audition software, the Editor will:
• Add music and sound effects under the applicable voice tracks for each assigned language recording
• Check volume levels and sound quality in each audio file
• Identify potential anomalies and/or quality issues in the audio files

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Intermediate skills and knowledge of Windows 7 and MS Excel 2007
• Familiarity with digital editing programs, such as Adobe Audition, Cool Edit or Cool Edit Pro, Pro-Tools, etc.
• Good hearing and an ability to judge reasonable music levels vs. voice levels
• Good vision

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Strong attention to detail and quality control abilities
• Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day
• A heart for missions and reaching people throughout the world with Audio Scriptures

• Note: Bilingual skills and/or soundboard mixing abilities are helpful
