Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to join the accounting and finance team in a fast paced and exciting non-profit environment. We are seeking a highly creative member for our team who is motivated by a challenge and exhibits a strong work ethic.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The successful candidate, under supervision, performs basic accounting functions such as ledger/fund maintenance, fund reconciliation and posting. Investigates and resolves problems related to funds, budgets, expenditures, and/or procurement practices. Provides assistance in the development, implementation, and management of fiscal systems and procedures, applying basic concepts, methods, and techniques.

Qualification Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution required with completion of at least 12 credit hours of university level accounting through intermediate accounting required;
• Two (2) years of directly related experience preferred.
