Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Are you an enthusiastic editor who enjoys collaborating in a technical environment? Join the premier nonprofit membership organization for medical imaging and radiation therapy. We have a full-time position open in the Communications Department. This entry level position will proofread articles, research, obtain information for publications, work with authors/contributors, check facts/ write articles and contribute to Radiologic Technology and Radiation Therapist and other journals’ success.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Minimum Requirements:
•Associate degree in English or related field, with 1-3 yrs. of professional writing and strong editing exp.
•Understanding of AP and AMA editorial styles.
•Intermediate MS Office skills; familiarity with updating/archiving content on intranet sites.
•Able to work independently and remain composed under pressure.
•Familiarity with publication production schedules.
•Able to collaborate with several departments and personalities.
