Associate Director of Native Strong

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Native Strong: Healthy Kids, Healthy Futures is a national program of the Notah Begay III Foundation (NB3F). POSTION SUMMARY: This position serves as the Associate Director (AD) of Native Strong (NS), ensuring that all operational aspects of the NS Department function at the most efficient daily level. This position works closely with the Director of NS in the ongoing development and implementation of the Department.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaborate with the NS Director and NB3F Deputy Director to ensure that the NS Strategic Plan is being built-out in an intentional and do-able process
Collaborate with the Director and the Development Department to ensure that all funding opportunities fit the NS Goals & Objectives
Plan, organize, implement and coordinate daily department activities
Provide direct supervision to all NS staff
Collaborate with the Director to ensure that all NS expenditures are aligned with the various grant budgets

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred in: a public health field, research and evaluation, urban and regional planning and policy, or relevant field of study
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years program management and employee supervision experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working in Native communities or organizations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
