ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL ADVANCEMENT

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Reporting to the Director of Institutional Advancement, the Associate Director will be responsible for implementing, executing, and maintaining donor relations and stewardship activities for special constituency donors including, but not limited to donors recognized through annual giving to the President’s Circle and planned giving Legacy Circle, and other friends of IAIA.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In collaboration with DIA, develops, manages, and evaluates fundraising activities for donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations to meet or exceed organizational goals.
Develop, monitor, and adjust strategic and ongoing action plans for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding assigned donor portfolio and prospects.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (business, marketing, communications, other) and at least five (5) years of successful experience in major gifts, planned giving, campaign management, other fundraising, preferably in higher education or a nonprofit arts organization.
