Associate Director of Development, Corporate and Foundation Relations

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The candidate will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward foundation and corporate donors and prospects for the UNM Foundation and will collaborate closely with other foundation professionals and administrators in support of University-wide development goals.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Under supervision, identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects including individuals, corporations, and foundations through visits and other forms of direct personal contact in accordance with performance targets set by the UNM Foundation and at levels defined by the Foundation.

• Conduct and/or review research to identify prospects and create strategies to match prospects' interests to the priorities of the unit and the Foundation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution

• Three (3) or more years experience related to the duties and responsibilities described

• Demonstrated ability to approach diverse challenges with logical, creative and entrepreneurial thinking
