Main Areas of Responsibility: 

IAIA is celebrating its 60th year It's a great time to join our team who raise funds to support our students, college, and museum; and achieve IAIA's mission to empower creativity and leadership in Indigenous arts and cultures. Manages portfolio, President's Circle, donor relations/communications, multi-channel campaigns, events.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Work collaboratively with Advancement team, faculty, and Foundation Advancement Committee to cultivate and solicit donors and sponsors. Develop philanthropic relationships with constituents and diverse partners, steward portfolio of 75+ donors, create advancement events for donor/prospect cultivation/stewardship, advance growth in Foundation assets to support long-term funding goals.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (business, marketing, communications, other) and at least five (5) years of successful experience in major gifts, planned giving, campaign management, other fundraising, preferably in higher education or a nonprofit arts organization. Preferred: Master’s degree and experience working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native cultures.
