Associate Athletics Director for Major Gifts, University of New Mexico Athletics

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Associate AD for Major Gifts will work closely with the Director of Athletics, coaching staff and Lobo Club staff to identify, cultivate and solicit major gifts ($25k and above). UNM Athletics participates in the NCAA Division I and is a founding member the Mountain West Conference supporting nearly 14 student-athletes in 18 different sports.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Associate Athletics Director for Major Gifts will serve as a front-line development officer housed in the department of athletics at the University of New Mexico reporting to the Vice President of University Development at the UNM Foundation.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preferred Qualifications
• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution required
• Five (5) or more years related experience in development/fundraising
• Experience in higher education, intercollegiate athletics or other non-profit organization
• Proven ability to develop relationships and solicit private gifts of $25,000 and above
