Main Areas of Responsibility:
Unique opportunity to join Upaya Zen Center as a full-time administrative assistant to the Registrar. This position requires excellent people skills, a healthy work ethic, high-level computer literacy, ability to prioritize and move nimbly among varied tasks, and a warm and welcoming demeanor to greet guests. A successful candidate will be an excellent and compassionate communicator on the phone, in person, and in email.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to responding to and directing inquiries to the various activities at Upaya, accommodating campus tours, greeting incoming guests, sales in our small store. In addition he/she will be supporting the registrar with registrations by phone and on-line. Registration tasks include invoicing, receiving payments, making housing and meal reservations, and answering questions about Upaya and the retreats.
