Main Areas of Responsibility:
This position is part time with a minimum of 20 hours per week. Hours are M-F 3:00-7:00 p.m. with occasional court appearances during business hours and on-call during weekends to provide shift coverage in case of emergency. Key responsibilities include: supervising staff, financial management, compliance with all local, state and federal laws, regulations and rules, overseeing the implementation of the organization’s strategic plan.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Assistant Executive Director (AED) will be part of the face of the organization and serve as the one of the lead fundraiser, strategic planner, and assistant chief executive managing the organization and all of its programming. The AED will assist the ED being responsible for all aspects of organizational management, setting the vision and direction of the organization, handling all staffing related matters, developing programs, and initiating program design, implementation and evaluation.
