Assistant Director at Learners Chess Academy

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We currently serve over 450 student per year in our after school and summer chess education programs. We are looking for someone to come in and help out with the management and growth of our organization. Our executive director is wholly dedicated to the organization's success and has brought it to where it is today, but now needs another committed high capacity chess education enthusiast to help carry the load and bring fresh ideas to help us manage our growth and success.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Along with helping manage the organization, the ideal candidate will also fill in as a chess coach as necessary.

This position will remain open until filled with an ideal candidate who we believe will help take our organization to the next level.

Other Information/Requirements: 

College degree.
At least 5 years combined of work experience in business/ non-profit management, volunteer recruitment, education services, teaching, chess coaching or other. (does not have to have all of these but five years total in any combination)
Willingness to relocate to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Passion about chess as an innovative educational tool and about working with children.
Proficiency in writing, communicating, using word, excel, and ability to learn new software processes.
