Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for assisting the Cook in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks by methods that maintain high nutrient levels and that are sanitary. Clean and sanitize the food preparation areas based on agency and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards. Operate a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens. Assist in managing inventory, unloading supplies and organizing.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent; one-year experience in large-scale food preparation, a valid NM Driver’s License with a good driving record. Must be able to comply with a level II background screening as required by agency and State Licensing. Excellent physical condition and stamina; ability to work as part of a team. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
