Minimum Skills/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Seven to ten years experience in fundraising or closely related field. Skilled in donor database systems, preferably The Raiser's Edge.
-Plans, manages and directs PHS fundraising efforts, creating campaigns and programs to meet capital expenditures and ongoing unreimbursed costs of the hospital.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
- Designs and implements fundraising campaigns using direct mail, personal solicitation, benefit events, & involvement of business organizations. Develops and designs correspondence, brochures and other materials to solicit gifts.
- Develops rapport with existing and potential donors.
- Facilitates development of project work plans and budgets.
