AmeriCorps VISTA position - SNAP Outreach

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This position is in partnership with the Anti-Hunger and Opportunity Corps (AHOC) which is a nationwide AmeriCorps VISTA program. The person in this position will train and manage volunteers in SNAP Outreach and will provide training to food distribution sites throughout the state.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

To be accepted into the VISTA Program you either need ample volunteer experience with a hunger organization, or a college degree. Ideal candidates also have a passion for ending hunger in our state.

Other Information/Requirements: 

There is a one year commitment for this position and pays a stipend of $946/month before taxes. Upon completion there is an addition stipend available to the VISTA member.
