AmeriCorps VISTA Data Support Specialist

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The VISTA member will provide data analytic support to community volunteer groups associated with Mission: Graduate to ensure that the projects identified by each group are informed by, and have access to, the best data to move their work forward.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

In addition, the VISTA member will oversee two projects: (1) a comprehensive mapping and analysis of community assets that can support student success, and (2) development of a system to track community assets over time. Additionally, the VISTA will be responsible for conducting one-on-one and group data training sessions on select topics.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Required Qualifications:
• Interest in or personal commitment to education and community development.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a general familiarity and comfort working with quantitative data.
• Ability to interpret and communicate data to diverse audiences.
• Professionalism, strong written and verbal communication skills, and strong inter-personal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree
