Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Program Administrator is responsible for the implementation of the Earth Care's AmeriCorps program including: member recruitment, training, and management, grant administration and reporting, service-site management, budget management, and day-to-day operations of the program. This position will also participate in organizational management and cross-functional collaboration with other staff members. The position is 30 hours/week.

Earth Care is a non-profit youth and community development organization located in Santa Fe, NM founded in 2001 to educate and empower youth and adult allies to create healthy, just and sustainable communities. We do this through youth leadership programs, sustainability and social justice education, and AmeriCorps service placements. For more information about Earth Care, go to www.earthcarenm.org

Other Information/Requirements: 

Salary and Hours and Timing: This is a 30 hour/week salaried position. The position will start in mid-late August with a four month training period -- December during which time the Program Administrator will be trained in all aspects of the program and organization. During the training period the salary is based on $18.00/hour, once fully trained, the position will paid $22/hour plus a health care stipend of $260/month. The position includes 4 weeks paid time off.
