Main Areas of Responsibility: 

UNM Truman Health Services is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic candidate with an overachieving attitude and enhanced work ethic who can coordinate calls and registration while providing superb customer service. Candidate must be an excellent communicator with a desire to be part of a great team.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Under limited supervision, performs a wide variety of administrative support functions including, but not limited to, direct service to patients either by phone or in person by scheduling appointments; receptionist duties; verifying demographic and insurance information; obtaining referral and prior authorizations with insurance carriers. Assist with concerns and complaints and serving as a liaison as needed with physicians, other providers and insurance companies.

Other Information/Requirements: 

High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of directly related experience working in a medical environment. Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire.
