Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Advocate Coach provides professional staff support to Advocates, ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. The Advocate Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching and coordination of Advocate cases.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Advocate Coach reports directly to the Advocate Manager, who is responsible for his/her performance evaluations.

DUTIES:
• Assist in the training of new advocates
• Assign, prepare, and distribute case documentation
• Maintain case files in office/Optima
• Attend court hearings as needed
• Process Judges Dockets
• Provide coaching for advocates on an ongoing basis
• Be available to advocate M-F

Other Information/Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in social service-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent communications skills written and oral
• The ability to interact effectively with people in different culture and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Knowledge and understanding of Child Welfare System
