Advocate Coach

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Advocate Coach provides professional staff support to Advocates, ensuring that children involved with the CASA program receive sound advocacy and early permanency planning. The Advocate Coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching and coordination of Advocate cases.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide coaching for advocates on an ongoing basis
Be available to advocate M-F
Actively coach using tools provided
Coach advocate through court report process
Elevate issues in a timely to Advocate Manager
Host coaching opportunities

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Computer literacy with MS Office Suite proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human services or nonprofits
• Excellent communications skills written and oral
• The ability to interact effectively with people from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Knowledge and understanding of Child Welfare System
