Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under Mission: Graduate’s Executive Director, the Adult Education Manager oversees and coordinates the work of Mission: Graduate’s adult-focused educational attainment strategy, including establishing the Adult Transitions Strategy Group, overseeing the “Graduate! ABQ” initiative, and managing aligned work tied to grant partner funding. The Manager will work closely with the ED of Mission: Families to develop educational pathways and support for families receiving services through resource hubs.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This role will oversee all logistics and implement the Adult Transitions to College strategy; establish and facilitate Adult Transitions to College Strategy Group meetings, develop agendas, and oversee tasks; perform necessary community outreach to recruit strategy group members; write and deliver grants, grant reports, and updates; and provide support for the integration of adult-focused educational attainment strategies into the work of Mission: Families, particularly as new resource hubs are launched.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The Manager must be a self-starter, flexible to respond to emerging needs, and highly motivated; able to provide high-quality customer service; and skilled in the use of continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes and methodology. The Manager must have effective facilitation, communication, supervisory, and project management skills; and the ability to build relationships with Mission:Graduate stakeholders. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of project management experience.
