Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant implements office activities; ensures that secretarial support is provided for NMHC's staff and board; ensures proper record keeping; assists as needed with reports, applications, events, and publications. Some in- and out-of-town travel is required and reliable transportation is essential.

Required:
Self-motivated and responsible; excellent oral and written communication skills; deals well with a diverse public on the telephone and in person; attention to detail; familiarity with office equipment; good computer and Internet skills; ability to prioritize tasks and work with a minimum of supervision to ensure timely completion of tasks; an Associates’ degree or equivalent experience; ability to take notes and write minutes of meetings; reliable transportation.
