Main Areas of Responsibility:
Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant implements office activities; ensures that secretarial support is provided for NMHC's Board and staff; ensures proper record keeping; assists as needed with reports, applications, events, and publications. Some in-town travel is required and reliable transportation is essential.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
• Providing information to the public
• Updating the web site
• Processing grant applications
• Assist with maintaining files for funded projects
• Maintaining grants and scholar data bases and generating required reports
• Arranging board and committee meetings, teleconferences
• Recording, transcribing, and distributing minutes
• Ensure support for the board and staff
• Attending NMHC events and programs
