Accountant/Finance Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Full-time position (salaried/exempt). Financial Management including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Grants Management, Payroll, Cash Management, Asset Management, Maintaining Accounting Books, Preparation of Financial Reports for Board of Directors.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Attends meetings of the Finance Committee and Board of Directors
Maintains Banking relationships including checking, savings and investment accounts

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 yrs. experience in non-profit accounting
CPA preferred
Expertise in fund accounting with knowledge of and state, federal and county funding
Demonstrated knowledge of fiscal regulations
Familiarity with accounting software, specifically Quick Books
