Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Staff Accountant

Barrett Foundation, Inc. serving women and children experiencing homelessness seeking to hire a part time staff accountant (20 hours/week) responsible for reconciling general ledger, monitoring grants/contracts, billing contracts, processing accounts payable, preparing monthly reports, preparing budgets, preparing for audits, and working with administration and program managers.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements: Experience in fund accounting, Quickbooks and Excel. Experience with Federal, State and private grants required. CPA, degree in accounting or 10+ years of experience in nonprofit accounting required. Must be a team player, deadline focused, detail-oriented, and well organized.
