Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Casa de Salud is a 501(c)3 non-profit clinic providing a wide range of medical, integrative, social, and harm reduction based services. The Nonprofit Accountant ensures the organization and staff are in compliance with Casa de Salud financial policies, contract and grant compliance, and generally accepted accounting principles. This position plays a critical role in sound fiscal management of the organization, as well as planning and budgeting for the organization’s future.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

The Nonprofit Accountant reports to the Director of Operations and the Executive Director and provides leadership and support in the following areas – finance, business planning and budgeting, human resources record-keeping, and other administrative tasks.

Other Information/Requirements: 

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; 5 years experience that includes final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting and audit coordination for a nonprofit or a government entity; and extensive knowledge of QuickBooks.
