Main Areas of Responsibility:
Academic Advisor provides educational services and support to program participants. Advisors are responsible for promoting services and providing key support to students. They also provide support to the coordinator including assistance in developing/updating program materials, managing and collecting activity evaluations, cultivating and maintaining relationships with participants, tutors, parents, and school staff.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Meet regularly with students to review academic progress, work with students to develop mid and long-term goals relating to college aspirations, assist students with college applications, scholarship applications, and assist them with financial aid applications.
